Booking Policy, Terms & Conditions and Waiver & Release

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • A $10 administration fee applies to all refunds

  • A full refund (less admin fee) will be provided for cancellations made by 11.59pm on Monday, 16 September 2024.

  • A 50% refund (less admin fee) will be provided for cancellations made by 11.59pm on Monday, 23 September 2024.

  • Cancellations after 23 September 2024 will not receive a refund, however you may transfer your booking to another child by emailing their name, date of birth and emergency contact information to gillian@northernbeachesjiujitsu.com.au.

  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows on the day of the camp, however transfers are allowed as per above.

  • Should the camp need to be cancelled by the organisers, a full refund will be provided.

Holiday Camp Terms & Conditions

  1. I agree to be bound by the rules and obey my coaches from the camp organisers (Northern Beaches Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Just Train and Viking Athletics) at all times and acknowledge that my camp participation may be terminated at any time if I breach any of the rules and regulations set out by the coaches. 

  2. In the event of an accident or injury, I give my full consent for instructors to perform necessary first aid and/or call emergency services for further assistance. 

  3. I acknowledge that I am fit to participate in activities including the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Speed and Agility sessions. I take full responsibility for any medical or emergency services incurred on my behalf as a result of an accident or injury. PLEASE NOTE: We recommend that you seek medical advice before beginning training and or any other exercise program.

  4. The camp organisers reserve the right to refuse, decline and/or cancel your camp participation at any time without stating a reason. 

  5. I understand that under the terms of this agreement, the Northern Beaches Jiu-Jitsu Academy Pty Ltd obligates itself to provide competent instructors and suitable facilities to teach the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing and Speed and Agility sessions included in the camp.

  6. I will faithfully comply with all the rules and regulations of the school and the traditions of the Martial Arts with the Northern Beaches Jiu-Jitsu Academy and accept and understand that the practice of the Martial Arts involves the risk of serious injury, and perhaps even death and that these risks may also result in significant financial/economic loss.

  7. I declare that all of the information I have provided or will provide is true and correct. 

Parental Consent - Waiver & Release

  1. By completing the booking form as the parent or legal guardian of the child named, I hereby give my full consent and approval for my child to participate in this school holiday camp.

  2. I understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of sport, and other related activities incidental to my child’s participation, and I am willing to assume these risks on behalf of my child. I hereby certify that my child is fully capable of participating in the designated sport and that my child is healthy and has no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities, except as listed in the registration form.

  3. In addition to giving my full consent for my child’s participation, I do hereby waive, release and hold harmless the camp organisers, its officers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by my child in the normal course of participation in the designated event and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.

  4. Photo, Video Audio Release: I agree that the camp organisers reserve the right to take video and audio material of student classes and school events and that these materials may be used for display, promotion and or advertising, or sold for profit, and I hereby waive my rights to any compensation arising out of my appearance in such materials. If I do not permit the use of video, visual or audio material to be used, I will email info@northernbeachesjiujitsu.com.au expressing my decision to opt-out of giving content.
