What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and why do it?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that is predominantly ground based, using the principals of leverage, angles, pressure and timing to control an opponent. The style we teach is mostly self-defence focused, providing vital life skills for kids to tackle bullying and adults to handle confronting situations, especially for those in high-risk jobs eg. police force. It has the physical benefits of building cardio, core strength and general fitness, plus mental health benefits of improved resilience, confidence and focus. Our Kids and Adults Programs
We offer jiu-jitsu classes for kids aged 3.5 to 15 years, and adult classes (16+ years) from beginners to black belt. We also offer private, one-on-one jiujitsu coaching in Cromer. Find out which jiujitsu program suits you best.

We are a lifestyle based Academy, located in Cromer in the heart of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We are a proud affiliate of the Pedro Sauer Association, one of the most respected schools teaching Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Our goal is to improve the lives of those in our local area, and build a friendly member base free from politics and ego.
